Sukkot Holiday Camp

The After School program at St. Rachel organized a Sukkot Holiday Camp October 2 - 5. Volunteer Juliette Blanchon reports...

To liven up this Sukkot holiday camp, we took the children to Safra Square in Jerusalem under the world's largest sukkah.

They were treated to a show featuring both small and gigantic balloons. At the end of the show, all went home with balloons.

Before returning to the Center, the children were honored to listen, sing along and dance with Israel’s children show star "Little Michal.”

Another day, the children attended a playful show in which some of the songs are being sang at the Center. The children also had fun learning about colors and what happens when two colors are mixed together.

The two subsequent days, the weather was not so good. So, the children stayed at the Center with the animators and did activities discovering new collective games, animation movies as well as arts and crafts.
